About Me
History and Training
I have a degree and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto.
I have over 20 years of professional experience, 15 of which have been devoted to research and teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto, with collaborations with several national and international institutions. This activity has resulted in:
- About 40 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, as first or corresponding author;
- Two book chapters;
- About 100 scientific posters and 6 oral presentations at national and international scientific events;
- Supervision of 2 PhD projects, 3 MSc projects and dozens of scientific initiation projects.
Member of the European Medical Writers Association
In the last 7 years, I became a specialist in Medical Writing. Through the writing of scientific and regulatory, I have supported researchers and institutions, in Portugal and abroad, with activity in the area of clinical investigation of medicines for human use and medical devices. With this, I am aligned with the growth trend of clinical research in Portugal and Europe. At the same time, I have developed skills in the field of professional training as training manager, pedagogical coordinator, and consultant with particular focus on the certification process by DGERT.
My professional activity is focused on the client´s demands and strategies and is guided by the principles of clarity, transparency, and quality, following the recommendations of good medical and scientific writing.
